About Me

My name is Robert Mejia; I’m a current Exercise Science – Strength & Conditioning student at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) and a Marine Corps veteran. I hold certifications as a CrossFit Level 2 Coach and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach.

I am currently working toward additional certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), including the CSCS and CPT, while completing my degree in Strength & Conditioning. I coach CrossFit group classes at multiple gyms in the Colorado Springs area, where I focus on helping athletes develop strength, movement quality, long-term performance, and confidence.

I started Ghostmaker Athletics as a passion project to share my experience, training philosophy, and programming with others who want to improve their performance and discipline through fitness.

Outside of coaching and school, I’ve been married to my wife for 10 years, and together we’ve traveled across the United States before recently settling in Colorado with our daughter. Their support has played a major role in allowing me to pursue coaching, education, and building Ghostmaker Athletics.

Here at Ghostmaker Athletics—where passion, perseverance, and power meet. Founded on the belief that anyone can rise above their limits, I’m dedicated to helping you become the best version of yourself.

My mission is simple: Empowering you to break boundaries, build strength, and achieve your fitness potential. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting your journey, we provide the tools, guidance, and community you need to succeed.

My Philosophy

I believe that fitness is more than just a physical transformation—it's about building mental resilience and inner strength. The name "Ghostmaker" symbolizes the idea of leaving behind the old you, the doubts, the fears, and the limitations, and stepping into a new, empowered self. Every workout, every rep, every drop of sweat is a step towards crafting a stronger, more confident you.
