Rest Day

“Let the adaptions happen while you rest”

Phases of Supercompensation:
- Phase 1: Training - the introduction of a training stimulus that is higher that what the body is acustomed to.
- Phase 2: Recovery: Active rest, active recovery sessions, or taking off from training allows the body to recover molecule substrates for energy and tissue synthesis back to baseline.
- Phase 3: Supercompensation: The body has adapted to the training stimulus and has increased its fitness level past baseline temporarily.
- Phase 4: Decline: If no further increases of stimulation is introduced fitness will return baseline.
